FIRE IN AUCKLAND. Auckland, January 20. The residence of Mr H. H. Lawry, Newmarket, was destroyed by fire last night. The greater part of the furniture was also destroyed. It was insured in the Hew Zealand for £600 on the House, and £300 on the furniture. The origin of the fire is unknown. ANOTHER CHUROH DEFAULTER. At the annual meeting of AH Saints' Anglican Church, last night, it was stated there was a deficit, amounting to £72, caused by the defalcations of D. F.
