TO THE EDITOR. Sir,—With your permission I shall be glad to avail myself of your columns tomorrow for tho purpose of reference to the action of my colleagues in the Council, who, on Monday evening, in my absence, and without affording me any opportunity for self-defence or explanation, passed a resolution which is understood to be a vote of censure on me.—l am, &c, F.
