|fbom our own oorrrkponobnt. I November 14. — Mr McGuire addressed a large number of electors here this after noon. Mr Bartley was in the chair. Mr McGuire referred to the various political topics in a masterly manner, and explained various matters to the electors to their entire satisfaction. Several questions were asked the candidate, who replied to them in a straightforward manner. At the request of Mr McGuire only a vote of thanks -\viia passed to him, but which was carried with considerable enthusiasm.
