Albany, November 17. Arrived : Oratava, s.g., from Plymonth, with the following passengers for New Zealand: Mr and Mrs Dawson, Messrs Sproat (2), and Wikrnan. Melbourne, November 15. The revenue of the railways during the strike fell £30,000 short of the estimate, aad the expenditure rose £80,000, in consequence of the difficulty of providing fuel.
A boys' assault case — Smith v. Barnett — occupied the attention of the Court this ! (Monday) afternoon.
