Well, we can't do without books, especially such as this, a real " hard times book " — one that will save money while making its possessor wiser and happier. This is a book for women, entitled " Tokology "—" — written by a woman, an American lady physician of over 25 years' successful practice. The sketch of her early >ife is an interesting story in itself, and at once gives confidence in her motives for writing the book — " earnest sympathy with the needs of her sex." Every word of her kindly instruction seems to come from a motherly heart, and touches a responsive chord in our own. Even doctors heartily recommend the book, for its teachings well acted out would save a world o£ anxiety and trouble respecting their lady patients, and would reduce to a minimum the dangers of the most critical periods of woman's life. No young \vil!e should be without a copy, and older ones would find it invaluable for their needs also, while to nurses it is indispensable. There are numerous American, English, Australian, and New Zealand testimonials in its favor. Tho price is low for such a valuable work, for twenty times its cost is soon saved by its methods of preventing illness. Mrs Collis is the agent, and is now receiving orders. Advt.
