A TERRIBLE SCENE IN VIENNA.
There was a terrible scene early on the morning of Sep. 17, in a street in one of the northern suburbs of Vienna. The correspondent of a London contemporary says a young artiist, an early riser, as hie opened his window blind, saw opposite to him a young lady, Malwine Elias, with whose family he was well acquainted, climbing up to the sill of her open window. He opened his window and bhouted a-i loud as he could to frighten her back. This attracted the attention of an old man, who appeared in his nigh -clothes, and seized the young girl to drag her into the room, but she resisted all his efforts, and after a terrible struggle, which lasted several minutes, the horrified neighbour saw the girl wrench herself out of her father's tight embrace and precipitate herself into the street, where she was taken up a shattered corp c. The young lady was only twentyJive years old, very pretty, and a finished musician. Her brother, a young doctor, who lives in the same house, hearing the noise, ran into the street, thinking he could help some unfortunate stranger, and was horrified to find his sister, dead and disfigured, lying on the pavement.
