Wednesday, July 16.— Before CaC. Kettle. Esq.,R.M. ' GILLESPIE COMMITTED FOB TRIAL. The' Court opened at 10 o'clock After a trial lasting over three days, during which some fifteen witnesses were examined, Constable Gillespie was to-day committed for trial. ,Bail was allowed in two sureties of £50 each. The accused was submitted to a most searching examination, laßting nearly eight honrs, an Tuesday.
