REGULATING A TIMEBALL.
Mr. A. J. Potter, one of the leading business men in Newcastle, N.8.W., writeß to the Sydney agents of the Waterbury Watch Co., under date December BOtb, 1889 : " I have been selling your watches for tbe past two years, and they have given every satisfaction. I repaired one for Captain Bewick, of Wickham, which be informed me bad gone for four years, keeping time to half a minute a we«k. Another well-known resident, Mr. Zingel, has one, with which he regulates the Newcastle timeball.
