Quotations are : Wheat: Best milling, 3s 2d to 3s 4d; medium. 2s 9d to 3s ; fowls' wheat, 2s 2d to 2s 6d ; floui, £8 to £815s; oatmeal £8 10s; potatoes (local kidney), £2 10s to £3 per ton; oats, feed, Is 2d to Is 3d ; milling and seed, Is 3d to Is 4d per bushel; cheese, 3d to Id j bacon, rolled 6^J ; sides of bacon, 7d (grain fed) j hams, 8d ; fresh butter, best quality, lOd; butter, ordinary,Bti per lbj salt butter(new). 5 i to 6£i per lb; eggs, Is per dozen; onions £7 per ton.
