The Vivian Dramatic and Comedy Company intend opening in New Plymouth for a short season on Tuesday, May 13, and the two following nights. This Company includes Mr Arthur Vivian and Miss Helen Vivian, two well-known Australian professionals; wherever they have performed they have succeeded in attracting large audiences. The pieces to be performed on the first night are " Lady Aud ley's Secret," and the comedy of " Sam" ; on the Becond " East Lynno," and "A Silent Woman"; and on the third " Woman Against Woman." Mr P. H. Kirby, the advance agent, is in New Plymouth making the necessary arrangements for the arrival of the company. The settlers in and around Stratford are eminded of the entertainment on Thursday next in aii of the Bush Fire Relief Fund to begin at 8 p.m. sharp. The earnest diligence of those working up for it, coupled with the worthy character of the object for which it is to be held certainly entitles it to the most liberal patronage.
