Bank of New Zealand shares have advanced steadily during the week, and are now quoted at £b 3s 6d (old issue) and £4 12s 6d (new), with a rising market. A parcel of new issue have changed hands at quoted price — buyers plentiful, sellers* scarce. Other stocks remain at previous quotations Union Insurance shares arewanted at 25s 9d, and Bank of New Zealand at market rate. New Plymouth Gas are offered at 935, Sash and Door at 50s, Co-operative at a low rigure, and a small parcel of Colonial Banks. New Plymouth, April 25, 1890.
