In replying to a request of tho Legislative Assembly for further increase of representation by South Australia on the Federal Council, in accordance with recommendations of the Council, Lord Knutsford states he is unable to advise the Queen to issue au Order in Council, anil before any increase is made all the colonies concerned should send a request to the Queen.
