At the conclusion of the caso at Christclmrch, in which Purcell, a seaman of tho steamer Jubilee, obtained a judgment against the Railway Commissioners for £1200, Mr Joynt, for the defendants, moved for a nonsuit, which the Judge consented to discuss on a future day. On Wednesday Mr .Joynt, in the Supreme Court, withdrew tho motion, with costs against the Crown, and the money to bo paid directly.
