Nominations for all handicap events to be in tho hands ot the Secretary by 9 p.m. on MONDAY, 24th March, 1890, accompanied by the necessary amount in cash, and also all performances for the previous two years ; if nominators have not run during that time, the last three performances to be given. Handicaps will be declared on Saturday, 29th March. Acceptances on the ground 15 minutes before starting. Competitors to wear proper athletic costumes. The decisions of the Judges in all oases to be final. Competitors in No. 15 (Ladies' Bracelet) to be nominated by ladies. Winners will have the option of taking trophies or cash. In the event, of the weather being unfavorable, the management reserve the right to postpone the eportß till a future date. The Taranaki Rifles Band will play selections during tho day.
