N.Z. SHIPPING COMPANY'S AFFAIRS. The annual report of the New Zealand Shipping Company shows that last year's deficit has been reduced to £80,000, and the general indebtedness by £111,000. Mr E. S. Dawes, has settled the debt to tho Bank of New Zealand, and the directors of the Shipping Company will shortly issue debentures to cover the amount. RUAPEHU AT RIO. Rio dk Jaxiero, November 28. The R.M.S. Ruapehu arrived here from New Zealand on Thursday, and reports her passengers enjoyed goood health, and that her cargo of frozen meat is in good condition.
