The attendance was quite equal to that on the Derby day. Results :—: — Foal Stakes. —One and a quarter miles.- j Dreadnought, 1; Sequel, 2. Won by half a length. Time, 2min 57sec. Fleminoton Stakks. Half a mile. — Boverley, 1; Wilga, 2; Whimbril, 3. Won by half a length. Time, 49sec. V.R.C. Handicap.—Oaklcigh, 1; Wycombe, 2; Chintz, 3. Won by a length and and a-half. Time, 3min 4sec. Steeplechase.—Malidi, 1; Kestrel, 2; Native, 3. Won by fifteen lengths. Time, 6min 53sec. Canterbury Plate. Two miles and a quarter. Weight for age. —Abercorn, 1; Sinecure, 2; Melos, 3. Won by three quarters of a length. Free Handicap. One and a quarter miles.—Dunkeld, 1; Chicago, 2; Tartar, 3. Won by a head. Time, 2min 9sec.
