THE KAURI TIMBER COMPANY. Auckland. October 29. The balance-sheet of the Kauri Timber Company shows a net profit for the year of £68,197. It is proposed to pay a dividend at the rate of 6 per cent, per annum, and carry £10,000 to the detention and sinking fund account, £2500 to the reserve fund, and £1511 to the preliminary expenses accounts, leaving £4286 to be carried forward.
