BABY OGDEN DRAMATIC COMPANY.

Referring to the Baby Ogden Dramatic Company, the Napier Telegraph says :—: — The dramatic version of Mrs Beecher Stowe's famous book as produced by the Baby Ogden Dramatic Company, was remarkably well played and mounted, and proved a great success. The Company, as a whole appeared to far greater advantage than in the dramas previously presented. Mr D'Orsay Ogden was excellent in the Title R6le, and earned loud applause. Mrs Ogden was highly successful in the dual part of Topsy and Cassy. Baby Ogden gave a marvellously clever delineation of the character of Eva St. Clair, "The Angel Child." The fun of the evening was mainly provided by Mr Harry Power, as the Kentucky farmer. All the other parts were satisfactorily filled; and the performance was ono of great merit throughout. ' Tho Company are rapidly establishing themselves in popular favor, and there should be another big house to-night, when "Oliver Twist" will be presented. This is a capital piece, providing plenty of opportunity for the display of both humour and pathos. Mr R. D'Orsay Ogden is said to be a splendid " Fagen," the villainous old Jew, who kept a school for young tlu'eves; whilst Oliver will undoubtedly be well played by Baby Ogden. There is plenty of fun in the piece, and all who have read Dickens' great work should patronise the play.
