THIS DA\. i Monday, October 28. — Before His Honoi Justice E. T. Connolly. ( His Honor took his seat at 10 o'clock, when the case of John Mynott v. F. P Corkill, a claim of £500 damages for libel was called on. "• Mr Jellicoe appeared for plaintiff, anr Mr Samuel for defendaut. After evidence was taken, His Hono; gave judgment for plaintiff for £20, anc costs on the lowest scale. His Honor also gave judgment in tlu case of John Mynott v. the Proprietor anc Publisher of the Herald, a claim of £50( damages for libel. The judgment was foi plaintiff for £20, with costs on the lowesi scale. The costs, on the lowest scale (exclusive of disbursements), amount to only £13 18s This closed the sittings of the Court.
