MAILS will be closed at the Chief Post-office, Devon atreet, as follows :—: — £_T For Anckland and North, per s.s. Glenelg, close to-morrow (Tuesday), 30th July, a-. 6 am. tgr For Auckland and North, per s.s. Gairloch, close to-morrow (Tueivlay), July nOkb, at 3.30 p.m. In future the private boxes at the Chief Post Office will be kept, open on Tuesday! and Fri ays till 11 p.m., aad correspondence arriving by the through train on those days will be sorted at 10 p.m. Receiving-box for letters is now established at the corner of Devon and Brougham-streets.
