PASTORAL, FINANCE, TRUST AND AGENCY COMPANY.

The general meeting of shareholders of the Pastoral Finance Trust and Agency Company of Australasia, Limited, was held o.t the Chamber of Commerce, Exchange, Sydney, on Tuesday December 11th, at 12 o'clock noon, Mr Russell Barton in the chair. There was an influential attendance, including representatives o£ the Provisional Courts of Victoria and Queensland . The Chairman informed the meeting that the Company was registered undst the Company's Limited Liability Act, 1874, and produced the Charter of Corporation declaring that the Company was duly formed ; that the Directors named in the Articles of Association retired from office by virtue of Clause 67. It was resolved that the number of tbe Board of Directors for the ensuing year be nine, five resident "in New South Wales, and one each for the Colonieß of Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and New Zealand. A ballot being demanded, the following duly qualified members were elected on tho Board of Directors in accordance with th» 66th clause of the Articles of Association. For New South Wales, Messrs. Russell Barton, J. B. Christian. Thomas Hungerford, Honourable J. F. Burns (Colonial Treasurer), and W. A. Hutchinson. For Victoria, Hon. James Williamson. For Queensland, Mr F. A. Blackman. For South Australia, Mr Donald Maclean. For New Zealand. Hon. W. S. Pbter, M.L.C. The following gentlemen Wbre elected Auditors cf the Company, Messrs. Donald Cormack and T. J. Wilßhire. The first meeting of the Board was held in the Company's office oa Friday the 14th inst., at 11.30 a m., when Mr Russell Barton, was elected Chairman and Mr Thomas Hungerford, Deputy Chairman of ; the Company, R. Montgomery Armstrong ] oeing appointed Secretary. There being still a balance of Shares in the reserve for each Colony unallotted applications for same will be Teceived by tkf Secretary.
