It is said that Sir George Grey, who was instrumental in the appointment of the Point Resolution Commission, is dissatisfied with the recommendations made by the Commission, and is determined not to let the matter drop. SCGAR REPINING GO. PAY DIVIDEND The Colonial Sngar Refining Co., wiih whioh the New Zealand Sugar Co. is incorporated, have declared a dividend of 7 per cent, per annum. The report shows that the business is on a sound basis. EMPLOYMENT OF FEMALES AFIER HOUBS Chbistohuroh, November 8. At the R.M. Court, G. Tombs and H. Whitoombe, printers, were fined for employing females after hours on Saturday afternoons.
