Ddnedin, November 3. — Judgment was given ycßterday by Mr Carew, R.M. in a case of considerable importance to Ohuritable Institutions. Tho Otago fionovelent Trustees sued the South Canterbury Charitable Aid Board for relief given to Maggie Sharp and her children, who came from the South Canterbury district. The olaitn was laid under section 74 of the Hospital and Charitaole Institutions Act of 1885. Judgment was given for tho pluntiff.
