| PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] OBTAINING MONEY BY FALSE PdKTESCES. Blenheim, September 22. At the Police Court this afternoon, Alfred Hogg and Albert aud Harry Luxton were oommitted for trial on a charge of conspiracy to obtain money by false pretences. Hogg is a resident of Nelson, and the other two men oome from New Plymouth. Until lately the three have been rabbitting for the factory. One of them received an order on a firm in town, and by some means they managed to cash it twice. Hogg will be brought up today on another charge of obtaining money by false pretences. FOUND DEAD. A verdict of death from natural cauaes was returned at the iaquest on Annie Hammond, who was found dead in bed this morning. LARNACII LIBSL ACTION. "Wellington, September 27. It has beeu arranged that the libel aotion of Larnach v. New Zealand Herald shall be heard in Wellington.
