DISTRICT COURT.
THIS DAY. Thuhsday, September 20. — Before His Honor Mr District Judge Rawson. CLAIM ON PROMISSORY NOrB. W. Hine, jun., v. S. Alexander. Claim £52 on a promissory noto overdue on June 27 last. Plaintiff, for whom Mr Govett appeared, stated that he received the promissory noto ia question over a land transaction, it bfcinsr iimde payable at tho B*nk of Now South Wales. Defenlant said there was money at this bank belonging to him, and it would be met. Oa the note maturing and being presented, it was not met, ac there was no money to meet it. Defendant did not appear. Judgment waß rocorded for plaintiff, with costs £5 14s. Th 1 ) Court rose.
