Monday, August 20.— Before 0. E. Rawson, Esq., R.M. Recovebt or Defcbbbd Payment Sections. — Grown Lands Ranger v. Q. Stanger. Mr Robinson, the Ranger, stated that Stanger took up section 5, olock 4, Kaupokonui, on June 7tb, 1886, on deterred payment He was to pay halfyearly £3 Os 101, but only paid the first instalment, and then let tho other payments go into arrear. There were now four payments owing, totalling £12 3j41. Judgment was given for the plaintiff, with costs 14s. — Same v. Joseph Mulrain, The Ranger in this case applied to recover ceotion 47, block 11, Opunake, as the half-yearly payments had gone in arrear. Application granted, with costs 13s. Judgment fob Plaintiff. — Mary Corkill v. Matthew Roberts, of Tariki Road. Claim, £23 11s SJ, being a balance of £32 8s 2(1, with five months 1 interest, 18s 2d, that had been advanced to defendant on a mortgage of stock. F. P. Corkill proved tho debt, and stated that 7 cows had been sold under the bill, which realised £9 14s 9d, tnus reducing the sum to the amount claimed. .
