BBEADSTUFFS.-New Zealand wheat quoted at3s3ato3s4d; New Zealand oats from 2s to 2s 3d per bushel; maize, 3s 6d to 3s 8d per 6Olbs; potatoes, 455, Pboduoe, &o. — At the wharf the following were the wholesale prices: — Onions are slack at £3 per ton for. fresh shipments Potatoes firmer; Circular Head, £3 10a per ton; New Zealand, £2 5s to £2 10s. No change ;n butter to record; best Illaworra, in keg, 6d to 7d per lb,; roll, 7d; factorymide, 7d to 9d. Cheese : 400 from Southern ports yesterday ; ordinary colonial sorts working off at 2£d to 4dper lb.; loaf cheese, 5d to 6d; New Zealand, to 6d. Hand-cured Southern bacon in rather light supply, and i worth 6d to 7d par lb.; machine'cured, 4d to 6Jd; heavy aud rough pieces, 3d to 4d; machine-cured hams, 6d to 7d; hand-cured, 7d to8d; New Zealand bacon, 8d; hams, to lid, Finely rendered lard in bladders, in restricted inquiry at 4d per lb; in bulk, jf rom 2id. Good and clear honey unaltered, at 4'ci to 5d per lb.; other s>rts> from 3£d. Fat Stock, —At Homebush fat stock sales 813 head of cattle were yarded. ' The market was unchanged.
