WAITOTARA ELECTORATE.
As the returns for the Waitotara electorate stand at present, Mr. G. Hutchison has a irajority of 45 over Mr. Bryoe. The details are as follow: —
Some o£ the up-country returns are not yet to hand, but ll ir > telegram states that these will increase Hutchison's majority. With regard to the Waitotura election there are two polling placeß up country two days' journey awaj T , and complete returns are not expected till 10 morrow. Voters there are thought to bo mostly Hutchison's supporters. Bryce is now 26 behind Hutchison. Two returns have yet to come in. Mr. Bryoe thinks he has lost.
