Hobsb Stock. — At the Haymarket sale on Friday (September 16) horse stock were yarded in usual numbers, and were dull of sale; but good animals maintain their values; young draught mares brought £20 and £26; the entire air Colin, 30 guineas; unbroken 3-year-old colts, up to £16.

Wool, Hides, Skins, &o.— Messrs. G. W. Binney & Sons report the demand brisk for all classes. Extra stout bides, 4£d to 4|d; heavy," 4d to 4fd; medium, 3 l-7d to 3§dj heavy cow, 4fd; medium, 3d; light, 2fa to 2|dj kip, 3d to 3£d; calf skins, 3|d 10 6d par lb,; skins, Is 9d to 5s 4d; bones, 4s 9d to ss; wool, 7d; tallow, 9s 6dto 13s.— Mr. Buckland reports that at his hide and skin sale on Tuesday (September 20); hides fetched late values, which were fully sustained. Tallow, 14s 6d the cwt.; sheepßkins np to 58 each.

Cattle, Shebp,&o.— Mr Bnckland reports that the country cattle sales held,respectively at Drury- on Wednesday (September 21) and Pokeno on Monday (September 19) were more- fully supplied with store -cattle than for some months. The stock generally was in low condition, and cowb in calf worth but little, 'lhere is good competition for steers, of all classes, but particularly for grown steers in fresh condition. At Bemuera on Thursday (September 22) dairy cattle- were fairly competed for. Store cattle were nnmerous, but in low condition ; prices ruled low; Yearling steers, from 16s to 265; 2-year-old steers, from 30s to 355; 3-year-old steers, 40s to 50s; yearling heifers, 10s to 16s; 2-year-oldc, 255; 3-year-olds, 25s to 35s each, with dull sale. Fat calves in usual number, and sold briikly. Fat cattle better worth about 15s each ; prices ranged from 18b to 20s the lOOlbs. Fat lambs were in moderate number, and , in demand at from 8s to 14s; and sheet) were better worth about 2s, good we\hers brought 16s 6d. Few pigs yarded.
