I Sib,— ln a local in your country edition on the 27th instant it appears that the deceased David Ironsid e had become unfinancial in the Foresters' Court at Palmerston, and to prevent its going forth that he had made no provision in case of sickness I desire to state that he was, at the time of the sad occurrence, a financial member in the Taranaki Railway Employees' Provident Society, and that the Society were making arrangements for hia interment previous to the arrival of his couuin from Waverley on Friday evening.
