Hughes, bandmaster, gave an entertainment here on Friday laßt, when the following programme was gone through :—: — March, Band ; song, " The Little Ones at Homo,' 1 Mr. Blanchard ; reading, Mr. J. A. Hill ; Grand Fantasia, Band ; polka, Band ; song, "The Old Folks at Home," Mr.' 8.. Stevenß ; quadrille, Band ; sons, " Tini," Mr. A. Bishop ; waltz, Baud. Interval of ten minutes. Fantasia, Band ; song, " Kiss Me as I Fall Asleep," Mr. Blanchard ; polka, Band ; song, "Shabby Genteel," Mr. S. Hill ; reading, Mr.B. Stevens ; song, " Would You, Could You," Mr. Blanchard ; waltz, Band ; song, " When these Old Clothes wero New," by old Joe, Tbis old Joe I believe to be one of our local gentlemen, but his hat was bo bad and his clothes so exceedingly shabby, he must have s — n or borrowed some person's garden scare Icrow — I could not recognise who old Joe was. A new march called the " Jubilee March " concluded the i evening's programme.
