AN' inspection parade of the Taranaki Rifles was held on the reclaimed land on Monday night, when there was a fair muster of the corps o£^4o"rank and file, under the command of Captain lloskin and Lieutenants Okey and Cock, the Band attending under Bandmaster Gurry. (Major Ellis was also present. After the j usualinspection of arais, . and company movements, &0., the question of th(i company attending tho Wanganui Jubilee Exhibition inaugural ceremony was discussed, and the final . decision of the corps left till the parade to, be. held this (Tuesday) night. ■ -. An advertisement in another column warns all members of the Taranaki Rifles to parade at the reclaimed ground to-night, at seven o'clock.
