A SITTING of the Royal ' Commission x\. appointed to inquire into and report upon the Land Claims of Volunteers enrolled between the years 1873 and 1876 ; as also those of discharged gjldiers of H.M.s Military and Naval Forces, and other claims of a like nature, will be held at the Militia Office New Plymouth, at 10 a.m., on the 23rd and 24th September, when the Commissioner will hear evidence in support of all claims brought before them. Claims in writing should be sent in to the Secretary, ' Royal Commission, Post Office, New Plymouth, on or before the 22rd September, setting forth name and address of Claimant, Regiment, or Volunteer Corps to which he belonged, date of discharge, what application he has made for Land or Scrip, and to whom.
