TIMARU GAOLER SUSPENDED.
Timaru, September 18.
Captain Hume, Inspector of Prisons, held an enquiry here yesterday as to tho alleged breach of the prison regulations. The result was the suspension of Cotter, gaoler at Timaru, for disobedience of the regulations aud telling falsehoods to the visiting Justices. The aharges were of a grave nature, and the Inspector considered them fully proved.
