j/ROM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] September y. — Dairy matters at Rahotu do not flourish. At the meeting held, re factory, on Saturday night there wero a large number of settlers present. But as each farmer appeared to think his neighbour in a better poßilion for carting milk than himself, and that therefore the factory should be located at tiro end of hia own road, the Bito could not be agreed on. Alter a long meeting it was resolved to adjourn until the 12th December, so as to allow tho matter to be well thought over and to prevent hasty action.
