[fbom our own correspondent.] r The usual monthly meeting of the Raleigh Town' Board was held at their office on Monday, 6th September. Present: Messrs. D. Telfar (chairman), J. Elliot, T. Elliot, Thos. Bayly, and J. D. Baker. "Recreation Ground. — A letter from Mr. " Albert Bayly was read asking to be allowed to transfer his lease of Recreation Ground
to Mr. Alexander Gilmour. — The matter ' • was allowed to stand over. ; Transfer of Lease. — Mr. Q. Pearce wrote asking to be allowed to transfer his lease to the Rev.-F. T. Baker.— Granted. Accounts. — The sum of £63 was voted for payment of accounts. The Board then adjourned.
