Hobsb Stock, &c. — At (he Haymarket on Frnlay (July 2) horse stock was yarded ia usu\l number, and with a slightly improved enquiry. Useful stock brought from £10 to £19 each ; a hansom cab, £63. Wool, Hides, Skins, &c. — At the Haymarket on Tuesday (July 6), bides were pitched in full nwrabers ; best quality brought 4 \.l and i^d the lb.; tnllow, 14s and 14s 9d the cwt.; shcpakiis, from lOd to Is lid each. Cattle, Shkbp, <fco.— Mr. Buckland reports that the country sales havo been fairly supplied with s^ockof all kinds, and the demand for store cattle is good. Local buyers both at Waiuku and Pukekohe purchased tho greater number of caltle yarded. — At Uemuera oa Thursday (July 8) dairy cittle were ia full numbers, aad were at late values. Not many s'.ore cattle were yarded ; fat cattle were in average numbers; prices were irregalar, but improved as the sale proceeded, ami varied from 15s to 203 the lOOlbs, heavy cat le bringing higher values. Sheep weic in full number ; store meiinoes brought 4s to 4s 9 I c eh ; fat sbeep in steady enquiry, at an aivance varying from 6d to Is each; good wethers ranged from 13s to 16s Gil c eh. Pigs abundant and of go^d quality; they biought about 2-Vd the lb. Shabk Market.— Messrs.
