Much excitement prevails in this city in consequence of the treatment of King Alfonso by the Parisians. FRANCE APOLOaiSES TO SPAIN, It has transpired that President Grevy has apologised in tho name of France to King Alfonso for the manner in which his Majesty was received by the people on his arrival here. The President made the apology, as the King was most indignant, and was prepared to depart immediately. KING OF SPAItf LBAVifiS FRANCE. Paris, October 1. King Alfonso left to-day for Madrid, notwithstanding the request of President Grevy that he should remain a day longer. FRENCH PRESS CONDEMNS THE CONDUCT OF IHE PEOPLE. The French Press generally disapproves of the outrage on the King, and warmly condemns the conduct of the people of this city. AFFAIKS AT TONQUIN. Latest intelligence from Tonquin states that the combined French expeditions left Hanoi and Haiphong to operate against the Anamite position at Bakuink. MURDER OF A CHINAMAN. Hong Kong, October 1. News to hand from Canton reports that the European named Logan, who shot a Chinaman in an affray which took place iv that city iv August, has been tried for murder and been sentenced to seven years' imprisonment. The Chinese population have expressed great discontent at the leniency of the Court, and much uneasiness prevails in the city.
