AUSTRALIAN TELEGRAMS.

Melbourne, June 16. The Te Anau arrived yesterday morning from the Bluff. Kumours are current that, in view of the present political crisis, the Government intend to ask for a dissolution, but the statement requires confirmation. Failing an amicable settlement between the Ministerials and the Opposition, the defeat of the Government is considered certain. A meeting has been held between Berry and twenty-two of the Opposition, and a coalition is deemed probable. It has transpired that Mr. Berry and his supporters have intimated their readiness to join Mr. Francis, and support his motion condemning the proposed remission of taxation. Sydney, June 16. Sailed : Zealandia for Auckland.
