Passengers are requested not to enter or leave the cars white in motion. GENEBAL CONDITIONS. The Railway Department does not pledge itself to the despatch or arrival of the Trains at tbe exact times notified in the above Tables, and in the event of any circumstances arising either during or prior to the journey being made which may render it impossible or inexpedient for a Train to proceed, will return the Fares paid, but does not undertake to forward the passengers. Luggage. — Each person is allowed to take 1121ba. of personal luggage free (not including merchandise of any Kind), and for every 561bs. above the weight, for every 50 miles or fraction of 50 miles, the charge will be One. Shilling. No luggage will be allowed to be taken into tbe Carriages, unless of such a size that it can be placed under the seat without inconvenience to other passengers. Passengers are strougly recommended to have their Names and the Station to which they are proceeding distinctly marked on their Luggage, and to satisfy themselves that it is placed on tbe Train, as the Railway Department will not be responsible unless it is booked and paid for. Passengers can be booked at Stations only on condition that there is room in tho Train. Children under three years of ago travel free above three and under fourteen years of age, half-price. Horses, Carriages, &o. — The Railway Department does not undertake to forward Horses and Carriages by any particular Train ; but when sent, they must be at the Forwarding Station half-an-hour before the departure of the Train. The owners of Horses must provide means for securing them in the horsebox, and the Railway Department will not be accountable tor any injuries sustained through their breaking loose or otherwise, nor will it undertake to carry unbroken or vicious Horses. At Country Stations requisitions for horse-boxes or carriage-trucks must be made the day before they are wanted. Dogs must be provided with chains, or other sufficient means of securing them. They will not be allowed in Carriages, and the sender must obtain a ticket, to by given up befoiethe cud of the journey, before the dog is delivered. Return or Periodical Tickets will not be available for Special or Excursion Trains, except the ordinary Time Table is suspended. Return Tickets for distances not exceeding 25 miles are available on tbe day of issue only . or each additional 25 miles or fraction thereof, one day extra is allowed. Ordinary Single Tickets isstled on Saturdays and Sundays are available as Return 'lickcts until the end of the following Monday, when re-dated as above. All Tickets used for return later than the day of isrue must be presented at the Ticket Window, and re-dated before tho Passengers enter the Train for the tteturn Journey. Any person neglecting to get his Ticket re-dated will have to pay the ordinary Fare. Special Notice. — To ensure despatch, Parcels, Extra Luggage, and Dogs must be at the Station Fifteen Minutes beforo advertised time of departure of Train. *
