Mr. Courtney held his usual fortnightly sale at Glenavon, on Thursday, when there was a good attemlanoo at tho yards, but since they were built, cattle have not sold so low for some tisie as they did ' to-day, especially in good quality store and half-fat cowa. Young stock sold at fair prices, although about thirty head of that class wcro withdrawn. . There was no good beef yarded. Dairy cows wnre in larger numbers than usual, and sold r well't , quiet heifers at calving sold well ; 168 ,head QfinU classes were yarded, and realised ' the following prices :— Poor calves, 40s. to 48a. 6,d;<; yearlings, rather thin, 535. to 605. ; < good y.oarlings, 705. ; store cows, £4 to £5 ; Lcojyß_at,. calving — a lot sold at from £8 to *8 10s. {some nice heifers at calving, £7 to £8 ; small two-year-old steers, M 155. ; good ones,, £.5 : .three year ojd steers, good quality,
