Tho Ngatihako have agreed to come to the meeting this niorn.ing, whon the whole matter will be discussed. Pakara and Epiha repeated what they said on Sunday, that they would not give themselves up to the Europeans. I have overy confidence that the ninawja of Ilauraki will do its utmost to cause them to be given up, well knowing the consequence.' ' There were fifteen men fully armed and ready for any emergency, and about twenty unarmed; these latter, from Waitakaruru, arrived yesterday.
