NOTIFICATION OF THE DEPOSIT OF VALUATION LISI'S. rPAKE NOTICE. —The Valuation Lists 1_ under "The Land Tax Act, 1378." for the Couuty of 'Jarnnuki, Wellington District, ure now deposited nt the pbicea stated hclow. Every person interested may inspect such lists and take copies thereof at nil reasouahle hours in the day time during a period of fourteen days from the 28th May. Any person who cousiders himself aggrieve*! by reas m of tho unfairness or incorrectness of any valuation, or by the insertion or incorrectness of any matter therein, may, either by himself or his agent, object as by the Act is provided. All objections must be in writing, under the hand of the objector or his ageut and in the prescribed form, and deliverrd or posted to me at my office at Wellington bafore the lGth day of Juno next. Notice must bo given of claims for exemption from land-tax, and every such notice must be included in a notice of objection to the valuation ; an»l in such notice the claimant shall state the particulars of the property or properties in respect of which such exemption is claimed, and the district in which sucu exemption shall take effect. If two or more claims to exemption relating to the same land be pnt iv, the same shull be treated as one such claim. Any person kuovsingly and wilfully making a false cluim fur exemption from land-tax is declared by the said Act to be deemed guilty of a misdemeanour.
