FRIGHTENED INTO FITS.
A. young lady living in Ohio — MissOver<neyer — was frightened into fits the other day by being carried by the cars beyond her place of destination. She left her home to visit some friends in Clyde, but not telling the conductor where she wished to step. A few minutes after passing that place she made some enquiries concerning" it, and learning the truth she wenl. into hysterics, and it took several stout men to hold her in her seat until the train arrived at Sandusky. On reaching that city, she was remove! to the Oolton House, and a physician wa3 sent for. Tho doctor found the woman in a decidedly critical condition, and for the time it was feared she might die; bat ofter several hoars sho recovered sufficiently to admit of being removed, and she was taken to Clyde.
All the Samo. — " I now offer you a Rubens," said :i:i auctioneer, "a perfect gem of genius, pet-haps the finest painting that came from that master-hand." There was no bid. The auctioneer passed the Rubens, and taking up another picture, said, "Very well, erenfclomen. I now offer yon a Rembrandt by the same artist."
