YESTERDAY'S TELEGRAMS. WRECK OF THE • STRATHNAVER.' MATE DROWNED. AUCKLAND. The schooner ' Strnthnaver,' owned in Lyttelton, was wrecked whilst entering Kaipara harbour. It capsized suddenly, and drove ashore, becoming a total wreck. The mate was drowned. She is insured in the New Zealand Office for £700. WESTLAND. ' The ' Otngo' arrived at Hokitika on Monday, and was tendered last night. She left on the 27th September, and brings forty-nine diggers for Kumara. The boats were towed to the wharf for the first time yesterday for the lost three months, and four were towed out. The ' Lioness' is still towing in, and it is expected all the boats will be towed in today.
