This is to notify, that RoßisuT Hawortii, of Dunedin, in tho Province of Otago, Iron Merchant and Sheep Farmer, did, ou the twenty sixth day sf April instant, deposit at tho Ollico of the Patent Officer, iv the Colonial Secretary's Office, in Wellington, a Specification or Instrument in writing under his hand and seal, particularly describing aud ascertaining the uaturo of the said Invention, and in what manner the name is to be performed, nnd 'hat by reuson of such deposit the said Intention is protected and secured to him exclusively for the torm of six calendar mouths thence next ensning. And I do farther notify that tho snid Robert Ha\\OKTH has givon notice in writing at my office of his intention to proceed with his application for Letters Patent for iho said Invention, nnd that I have appointed Fuiday, the fist day of September next, at twelve o'clock noon, nt my office, to hear and consider tho said application, and all objections thereto. And Ido hereby require all persons having an interest in opposing the grant of such Letters Patent to lenve, on or before iho twouly-eighth dny of Augosi, at my office in Wellington, pnviienlnrs in wriling oT their objections to the snid application, otherwise ! they will bo precluded Irom urging the same.
