Livi Stock Makkbt.— Mr. A. Bnokland reports that during tbe past week, sales of stock have been more tbaa usually nntnerons. At Cambridge, on tbe 13th, 137 bead rattle, principally steers frem«igbtocn months to two years old, were penned. For young cattle, particularly steers, there wns a good inquiry at full rates ; bat grown cattle were dull of sale, and three penß were vrithdrawn. Dairy cows ia fair inquiry; fat oatUa, 24s tbe 100 lbs. At Remacra, on the 16tb, a larger than nsnal number of store cattle were yarded. Prices wore lower than hare lately ruled, particularly t\oea in low condition. Fat cattle in arerage supply, and without alteration in values. Ewes numerous and in request at advanced ralnes. Fat sheep plentiful ; all sold at last week's prices. Lambs in full supply. Pigs numerous ; alt kinds met with a freo sate at full rates. Prices obtained were: Dairy cows, £6 to £» 10s; calves, 17s dd to 30s; yearling heifers, from 25a ,- steers, 30s to 60s ; two-year-old heifers, 40s to COs ; ■teen, 65* to 85s: cows, 60s to 60s each ; fat cattle, 24s to 27s tbe li) 0 lbs. ; aged cross-bred ewes, in low condition, 15s to 10s 6d each ; fat sheep, 31 to 2J<l tbe lb. ; lambs, lAsto lAs each ; pigs, 3d the Ib. Ghaiw urn Flock Market — Tbe grain market ia bare of supplies. Flour is, however, well supplied, but so oUorntioa in prices has been made. Slaite is in just nbout sufficient supply to bnroly moet requirements ; 7s is the quotation at present. Bran is still m Bbort supply, and remains at Is 9cl. Produce, 4c— Potatoes are woith £5 l^s. Thequality of cbeese coming to band varies very greatly, and is quoted accord; ugly at from 4d to Bd. It is in moderate ennply. For prime butter Is is offered.— Mr. R. Arthur reports that bis poultry sale at the markethouse wav well attended, nnd bidding brisker than it has been for somn veeks ; but tbo poultry brought forward were not of flret^clwre quality.
