Lcg^l Precision. — A curious story is told illstrating tho legal precision of a gtoat judge. lo asked a magistrate on a circuit dinner whether io would take some venison. Tho gentleman nswered, " Thank you, my lord, I am going to tcce boiled chicken." Lord Tonterdcn retorted, " Th(, sir, is no answer to my question ; 1 ask you agin if you will take venison, and I will thank you to answer yes or no, without further prevaricatio." The story was told in the Quarterly Review, bu it is challenged by Lord Campbell.
