Tabanaki Herald Offioe, Friday, November 15, 1872. L. Yems (for whom Mr. Bennett acted) held a sale of cattle at the Town Pound, oa Satnrdad last, when the^bllowing prices were realised per head of from one to three years old : — Heifers ano steers, £1 65., £1 11s., £i 155., £1 165., £2, £2 25., £3 ; calves, 10s. ; fat heifers, £3 ; one pair working bullocks, £12. Eighteen head were sold. L. Yems (for whom Mr. Bennett acted) held a sale of cattle, sheep, and horses, at Mr. Albert Bishop's farm, on Thursday last. The following were the prices realised per head : — Young stock, £1 Is., £1 2s. 6d., £1 65., £l 95., £l 10s., £1 11s., £1 163., £1 18s., £1 195., £2; heifers in oalf, £3 55., £3 10s., £5 ; cows, £3, £3 55., £3 7s. 6d., £3 10s., £4, £4 17s. 6d. ; cows with calves, £3 12s. 6d., £4, £4 55., £4 7s. 6d., £5 2s. 6d. ; steers, £2 1 Is., £2 17a. 6d., £3 55., £4 2s. 6d.; bull, £2; ewes, with lambs, 165., calvea, 55.; pigs, 6s. 3d. j saddle horse, £6 15b. Forty-one head cattle, six pigs, twenty-five sheep, with lambs, and one horse, were sold. One mare was bought in at £17 ; £16 10s. being offered.
