ENTERED OUTWARDS. Per Ahnriri for Mannkau — 1 bale wool, 4 cases butter, Gledhill ; 3 cases do, Cudd ; 4 oases do, Teale & Son ; 1 keg, Howell ; 1 do, Snell.

The s.s. Ahuriri, 131 tons, Capt. M. Carey, commander, arrived from Nelson, Picton, and Wellington on Saturday evening, at 7.30 p.m. Captain Carey reports leaving Wellington on the 18th at 2 a.m., arriving at Picton at 9 a.m., leaving for Nelson ac 11 a.m., arriving there at 10 p.m. (eleven hours), having experienced strong head winds from Picton. Left Nelson at 6.30 a.m. on Friday, and arrived here as above. Left Nelson with a fine S.W. breeze, which increased to a fresh gale. At noon, carried away the foresails. Close reefed fore and mail trysails, slowed engines, and head reached to the N.W. at 4 o'clock, and lay to during tho night. On Saturday morning the wind shifted E.N.E., blowing a fresh gale with high confused sea with heavy raius, when the captain found the vessel forty miles oat of her coarse. The latter part of the voyage was done with fine S.E. breeze and clear weather. The Ahuriri brought a few passengers and ten tons cargo. She took tUe outward English mail to join the Nevada. She left for the Manukan at about 9 a.m. We have to thank the purser for files of Nelson and Wellington papers. The s.s. St. Kilda from the Manukan for Wanganui, put in here for coals yesterday. She has been lying inside the Sugar Loaves during the past two days, not being able to round the capo as a gale was blowing iv the Straits. We have to thank Captain Flowerday for seuding us ashore several Auckland papers. The s.s. Pihebe was taken into the new graving dock at Port Chalmers on the morning of the 13th, being the first vessel that has been placed in it since its completion. The Phoebe was to receive a thorough overhaul, her hull cleaned and painted. She was advertised to leave Wellington for this port about the 23rd, and may be expoeted here on Thursday evening. The Taranaki Steam Navigation Company's s.s. Go-ahead, Captain Doile, arrived in Wellington harbour at 8 p.m on the 13th, from Wanganui. She reports leaving Wanganai wharf at 6 a.m. on the 13th. Had light north winds and smooth water till arrival at Wellington as above. She was advertised to sail again for the north on the 17th. During her stay in Wellington, the Go-ahead plied between the wharf and the Nevada, carrying visitors to that magnificent American vessel at the low rate of one shilling each, Captain Doile having obtained the special permission of Captain Blethen. The three-masted schooner Lochlee, Captain Boig, arrived at Wellington on the 12th May. She left London on the Ist January. She brings no passengers, and has a full cargo of raorehaudise.
